The project and resolution were aimed to propose and deliver the extraction system for recycled mixed waste materials, which is very abrasive in the result of the dedusting product.

The delivery scope was about the industrial filtration, including the integrated separation of coarse impurities without the cyclone separator.

The industrial fume hoods, exhaust arms and other jigs of the dust sources were included in the delivery of the recycling technology, not the central filtration. The additional arrangement of the technology cleaning which shall be done by the central vacuum cleaner was postponed to future time due to investing reasons.

Therefore, the air extraction and filtration procedures are carried out by the CUMA CARM filters  fitted with regeneration system using vibration motors, in conjunction with the regeneration on-line + off-line system. The exhaust radial fans are installed on the clean side of the filter.

Exhaust system for dedusting substances shall be carried out by the auger (worm) conveyor and the rotary feeder. The transport fan could not be used due to high level of abrasion.

The whole equipment is solved in accordance with ATEX standard, specifically with Zone 20 inside and without any zone outside.

The delivery includes the control system of exhaust power depending on operation of each machine linked to a frequency convertor. This results in energy savings in the amount of 30 to 40%.

The heating energy is saved by the return of clean, filtered air mass back to the working environment; the necessary replacement of the air in the volume of 15% is achieved by natural ways.

The flush feature of the piping system is necessary; we usually use the time-control system. The residual drifts of 0.1-0.5 mg/Nm³ are deep below the requirements of the standards.

The service life-time of a filtration medium is guaranteed at the level of 20,000 operating hours; the level of +50 to 100% is proven in practice.
