Efficient incinerating air extraction
Incinerating coal or biomass is a source of thermal energy. Coal, wood chips, straw, hemp, corn cobs and other types of biological waste can all be used as fuel. Incineration produces large amounts of fly ash, which is carried by flue gases through a chimney to the outside environment. CARM GH filtration device separates fly ash from the flue gases and prevents it from spreading into the outside environment.
Biomass boiler dust extraction
Biomass incineration produces fumes with vapors, fly ash and flaming particles. Flaming particles need to be extinguished with a mechanical pre-separator, which is placed in front of the filtration device. For biomass incineration applications, we recommend installing automatic spark extinguisher between the pre-separator and the filtration device to protect the filter from combustion.
Devices for filtering flumes are divided into several filtration chambers in a cycle, which enables continuous operation without downtime.
Biomass incineration filtration system can be applied to multiple boilers simultaneously. In this case, an auxiliary fan is installed behind the filtration device with frequency converter to maintain constant negative pressure in front of the filter. The auxiliary fan reacts to the operation of individual boilers.
Choosing filtration technology
For filtering fumes from biomass incineration, we recommend CARM GH filtration devices. The device has a multi-chamber design. When individual chambers turn on and off, filtration device is being regenerated without flumes passing through, which helps minimize filter medium pressure loss. The casing of the filtration device is thermally insulated and the discharge chute is heated. Regeneration elements are made of stainless steel.
We use cyclone separators as pre-separators. These pre-separators catch flaming particles typical for flumes. Installing a pre-separator reduces the risk of filtration device combustion.
Smart exhaust power control
Smart exhaust power control is a mandatory condition in incineration machines dust extraction applications. The filtration system must reliably maintain steady and accurate levels of negative pressure inside the extraction ducts behind the boiler. It also must feature security measures against electrical power outage and compressed air insufficiency. Our top of the line devices record and store operating data, so the performance of device can be analyzed with time. Our contemporary devices are also equipped with a GSM module for remote control and parameter setup.
Filter medium replacement cost
We design and deliver our solutions for our clients with minimum filtration device maintenance cost in mind. Our devices are equipped with smooth filtration sleeves made of microporous filtration fabric with thermal resistance up to 190 °C. Filtration sleeves won’t have dust deposits, don’t tear and have high mechanical resistance. For incineration applications, we guarantee filter medium service life of at least 20 000 hours.
