Extraction systems for woodworking machinery

The system is designed to extract fumes from dozens of woodworking machines used in the manufacture of chairs, tables and other solid wood interior fittings, covering all stages of the production process from cutting and planing through to sanding and finishing.

In line with the layout of the production halls, the filtration technology is divided into four blocks.

The total extraction capacity is approximately 250,000 m³/h.

The fans located on the clean side of the filter are housed in sound-insulated chambers.

Dust from all filtration blocks is channelled via a pneumatic conveying system to a central silo, where a de-aeration filter is located.

A key feature of this system is its maximum energy savings, encompassing both electricity and heating energy, whether through the recirculation of clean, filtered and warm air back into the production areas or through the utilisation of the heat generated by the fan motors.

The controlled exhaust air flow from individual machines is optimised via the control system and frequency converters to achieve maximum efficiency in electricity consumption.

The long service life of wear parts and surface finishes, the careful design of all components, and the quality of the materials used minimise operating costs over several years; these costs are negligible in relation to the investment, which is the aim of any sensible investment.
