The aim of the project was to supply and install a woodworking extraction system and a sawdust extraction system. There was no need to address the extraction of off-cuts. In principle, this involved the supply of what is known as industrial filtration or industrial extraction. The separation of coarse particles is structurally ensured by a filtration unit, followed by the removal of wood dust.
For the reason stated above, there was no need to use a cyclone separator, which would only have made the entire project more expensive.

The entire system is designed in accordance with the ATEX standard, specifically within ZONE 20, with no zone designation outside.
The scope of supply also includes control of the extraction capacity depending on the operation of individual machines, linked to a frequency converter. This results in practical electricity savings of approximately 30–40 per cent.
Heating energy savings are achieved by returning clean, filtered air back into the working environment; a 15 per cent air replacement rate is ensured naturally.
A flushing function for the ductwork system is standard; we usually opt for time-based control. Residual emissions in the range of 0.1–0.5 mg/Nm³ are well below the requirements of the STANDARDS.
We guarantee a service life of 20,000 operating hours for the filter media; in practice, this is demonstrably exceeded by 50–100 per cent.
